he was also very interested in creating computer games with his friends just for fun and as the years passed he became even more interested and more fascinated by computers and he continued working and developing programs.
while still in high school he created a music player called synapse that intelligently recommended other music to the user based on his music taste. Several companies including Microsoft wanted to buy the software and hire mark but he declined all the offers.
After graduating he went to study at Harvard University and in no time he became very popular for his programming skills and soon mark and his friends created a social networking site that allowed Harvard students to create their own profiles upload photos and communicate with each other and the site was officially launched from his dorm the room that was the beginning of Facebook he decided to drop out of college and devote himself full time building his Facebook empire but this collet dropout had a strong vision for his future and believed in the idea he was working on he didn't just drop out like that he had a plan and he fully committed himself into making Facebook a worldwide platform.
By the end of 2004 Facebook had 1 million users by July 2010 the company had 500 million users and by December 2020 Facebook claimed that it had 2.8 billion monthly active users but that was not as easy as it sounds he was 19 when he started Facebook and he said that he knew nothing about business about running a company he didn't even know that he was starting a company.
He says
I really knew so little at the time so many things go wrong when you're starting a company often I think people ask what mistakes you should avoid making my answer to that question is don't even bother trying to avoid mistakes because you're going to make tons of mistakes the important thing is actually learning quickly from whatever mistakes you make and not giving up.
A lot of us have a really hard time with making the right decision we are afraid of taking risks and making mistakes so we tend to wait for the perfect moment to start something but in a world that is changing really

Over the years, Mark has given different advice about how you can think and what you can do
to be successful and rich.
Advice No. 1. "Find that thing you are super passionate about."
You’re going to spend about half of your adult life working or thinking about work.
Does is really worth it?
For most people of the world, no is the answer because they hate their jobs. As a young person, your very first assignment in life is to figure out what you’re passionate about, until you know what you’re really passionate about, your life will be one of those boring ones.
I know you may want to ask, “so, how do I know what I’m passionate about”?
The next advice can help you to figure that out.
Advice No. 2 "People think innovation is just having a good idea but a lot of it is just moving quickly and trying a lot of things."
Innovation, like discovering your talents or what you’re passionate about is not about
being smart or having an idea.
It’s about trying different stuff and moving quickly. If you want to know what you’re passionate about, you have to try different things, make mistakes and fail, along the line, you’ll notice what you’re truly passionate about. The same thing goes for innovation.
You’ll have to try different things, make mistakes and fail before you can innovate.
Advice No. 3. "The biggest risk is not taking any risk."
Don’t take life easy.
Get out and dare life.
Avoiding risk is the real risk.
Advice No. 4. "You are better off trying something and having it not work and learning from that than not doing anything at all."
Most young people make excuses because they are afraid what they want to try may not work. You’ll be a better person for failing at something big than not to try at all. Get out and attempt great things!
Advice No. 5. "Building a mission and building a business go hand-in-hand."
Businesses that last are those that focus on specific missions. Your business should be about solving a significant problem and that is your mission.
Advice No. 6. “Move fast and break things.
Unless you are breaking stuff, you are not moving fast enough." In other words, unless you’re making mistakes, you’re not trying enough things. The best measure of your progress can be; how many mistakes have you made in the last 3 months? The more mistakes you make, the faster you can succeed.
Advice No. 7. "I think as a company, if you can get those two things right--having a clear direction on what you are trying to do and bringing in great people who can execute on the stuff—then you can do pretty well."
You must know what you want out of life and you have to know how to get great and positive people together to accomplish a specific goal.
Advice No.8. "This is a perverse thing, personally, but I would rather be in the cycle where people are underestimating us.”
It gives us latitude to go out and make big bets that excite and amaze people." Except your dream is small, many people will ridicule you and that’s fine. That’s fine because you can actually derive more motivation from people who think you can’t than from people who think you’re capable.
When next you are underestimated, smile and be determined to prove your doubters wrong.

they care about what you build."
At the end of it all, your life is like a flash of light which nobody will remember in the future, except you build something that make the world a better place. Nobody cares about what you say. What you do with your life is the only thing that matters.

attitude, trying to get better”
Truly successful people never stop learning. If you’re not learning, you’re not growing. If you’re not growing, you’re dying. In summary, find what you’re passionate about, don’t be afraid of mistakes and failures, try things even if they won’t work, learn every day, move fast and break stuff.
